CA ARCserve® r16 Release 7 adds the following new features and enhancements to CA ARCserve® D2D and CA ARCserve® Central Applications to deliver more flexibility, better usability and help improve IT productivity. In addition, CA Nimsoft Monitoring software is now integrated with CA ARCserve D2D/Central Applications, CA ARCserve® Replication and CA ARCserve® High Availability. CA Nimsoft Monitoring will capture and display CA ARCserve alerts and notifications to help improve IT service quality and reduce IT costs for both customers and MSPs.
CA ARCserve D2D r16 Release 7:
- Option to create “backup sets” that contain all recovery points during a specified time period. This option is especially useful when protecting large data sets and data bases. It offers customers more flexibility when planning data protection and recovery.
- Users can now perform faster data recovery during a large Merge process by suspending the Merge temporarily. The Merge process combines the most recent incremental backup into the full image backup base as part of the infinite incremental process. Users will also have the option to run the Merge job within a specified time period thereby allowing flexibility in the job schedule.
